1-1
Counselling
and
Psychotherapy
At Life Skills Hub, we have an integrated team of qualified and advanced trainee psychotherapeutic counsellors who can work with students from the age of 4-25 years old for 1-1 relational therapy. We can discuss the best location for the therapy to be undertaken and offer virtual sessions. Therapy can be commissioned or paid for privately and once you’ve been in touch we can discuss your specific requirements, including ethical boundaries and work we are competent and supervised to provide. We specialise in working with students with SEND needs and have expertise in this area, alongside attachment and trauma informed approaches.
Hi I am Luke and this is a bit about me.

I enjoy watching live theatre, performing in theatres (particularly musicals) singing (particularly something with soul!), travelling, spa days, complimentary therapies, home improvements, spending time with family and friends and adventures! I also love relaxing, body stretch, becoming engrossed in a good series on TV, swimming and I particularly enjoy Greek, Mexican, Italian, and Thai food (perhaps a fusion of all 4?).  I love time with family and friends and making memories.

Whilst some of my role is serious and involves things like; decision making and analytical thought, I thrive off connectivity, creativity, and fun!  I usually sport colourful clothing and feel comfortable and grounded without shoes on. I enjoy networking and being connected with others.

I love studying and finding out new facts, developing skills and I'm on a journey about understanding myself intrinsically. I've always been very interested in what makes people tick and in psychology. I've graduated in theatre studies, law and more recently as a psychotherapeutic counsellor.

At LSH we are firm believer in CPD, and insights training can bring. I reflect on a range of skills learnt from a varied career, including in leading Inclusion across multiple specialist schools, working within NHS Mental Health Teams, SEND/disability charities, advocacy, safeguarding, legal advice and student wellbeing.
Hi I am Sara and I am mum to a young son and we have a young dog. We enjoy family time that consists of creating memories, from baking to building Lego to days out. I value social time to connect with friends and family.

I believe in the concept of early intervention and prevention; I am passionate about understanding the world of each child or young person and supporting them in the way that encourages autonomy and validates their feelings with compassion and warmth. I am pleased to be working with Life Skills Hub as I share their belief of Children and Young People's wellbeing being at the heart of all they do.

I feel working with children and young people is a rich rewarding experience, responding to and exploring what they might be communicating through their behaviour and play. I love working creatively with age-appropriate interventions. Anything creative that builds trust, engages and encourages each child and young person to feel empowered and validated.
Hey! I'm Chris. I am so excited to be involved with Life Skills Hub.

I really enjoy combining all of my skills to help individuals to resolve their issues and reach their goals - whether that is in a personal, business or education setting. I really enjoy encouraging young people to achieve their potential, and have helped several young people in my former role as a mentor for the Princes' Trust. My passions are around the growth of individuals and I look forward to bringing this energy, via a really down to earth approach, to Life Skills Hub and its clients.
Hi I am Ian and I am a Lifelong Hull City supporter, American Football fan, love anything to do with cricket, playing or watching and an amateur photographer. I enjoy long walks in the countryside, cycling and reading.

I believe that every single person who wants help, should be heard. For far too long the stigma attached to mental health, especially men's mental health, has been a significant hindrance for the wellbeing of many in this country and the time for change is now. If you are looking for someone to sit with you in the dark, I am here to sit with you until the light appears.
Hello. I'm Jason.
Nothing pleases me more than being able to help people achieve their full potential and I'm lucky enough to have been able to work in jobs that have enabled me to do that all my life. Throughout my varied career I have worked with adults with mental health problems, spent a long time working to support homeless people, counselled people with addictions and cared for people with learning difficulties. Outside of work, I take photographs and create digital art, ride my bike, walk my dog, listen to David Bowie, spend as much time as possible with my son and devour anything and everything to do with Star Wars.
Hi, I'm Caroline. I am a wife and mum of two beautiful daughters and have a 7-year-old Beagle Cross called Archie who we rescued at 7 month sold. I love Zumba, Fitsteps and any dancing. It's good for my soul and makes me feel happy. I also am partial to a bit of Queen and Meatloaf music and can be found blaring it out in the kitchen while cooking tea.  Travelling is also a passion of mine and going away on holiday with family and friends is something I look forward to.

l enjoy living life to the full and having fun. My motto in life is all about trying to find a positive out of a negative, however small and be thankful for what I have.
Hi, I'm Klaudia. I like long-distance running and reading crime and detective novels. I'm a vegan, a feminist, and an animal lover. Sociology and psychology have been my life-long passion as they offer hope, invite change and broaden horizon.

I have worked in a secondary education sector for 12 years, supporting EAL and SEN children academically, pastorally, and mentally. This experience has given me a good insight into issues young people have to deal with daily.

Additionally, I have been working with a fellow therapist trainee on developing a psychotherapeutic project called Polish Your Soul designed to support the Polish community in Hull and East Riding of Yorkshire.
