Hello, my name is John.

In my spare time I enjoy playing badminton and table tennis with my son. I also enjoy going to the cinema, it helps me relax and unwind. I love spending time with my family and taking my dog Izzy for walks at the beach.

I'm passionate about bringing my skills, knowledge and experience to life skills employability. I remember how hard it was being younger whilst dealing with anxiety, social situations and sometimes not feeling good enough. I want to help students to feel empowered, full of energy and have a passion for life. I want to help them develop skills towards what they want to do in the future.

My role within Life skills Employability is Senior Lead and Head Trainer. My team and I, help students build confidence and vocational skillsets that will help them attain employment in the future.
Hello, I'm Monika.

I am a very creative person. I love making things from most materials especially if they are being repurposed. I have made beds from pallets, mud kitchens, little tables and chairs and a couple of playhouses. I have made a Toy Story crane machine from cardboard and syringes. I filled it with crocheted aliens that I hand made. I have also made a Frozen castle and several games for a crystal maze themed party. I made a 3ft gravestone for a nightmare before Christmas themed party. I also crochet, usually small soft toys which I then tend to give away. I love learning new hobbies so over the years I have tried a lot of crafts from a blacksmiths day course to marbling to pottery. I went on a course to learn how to build my own pizza oven then built one.

I believe that all children and adults should be able to access learning regardless of their limitations. It’s vital that we adapt to the environment, adapt teaching and encourage learning. Working at Life skills allows me to bring calmness into a chaotic world for children and young people. I want to support people who struggle with many different needs. I find myself naturally drawn to helping people so where better to work than somewhere that was created for this very purpose.
