Hi I am Nicci.

Outside of work you will find me out in the great outdoors, finding adventure in nature anything from hiking, open water swimming to nurturing my beloved allotment where I keep my rescue chickens and grow organic vegetables and beautiful cut flowers. I am an avid tree climber; however, I have also been known to get stuck! I have a love for life and a strong interest in keeping a healthy mind and body, I am a qualified yoga teacher, herbalist and aromatherapist, I really enjoy bringing these skills to life at Life Skills Hub.

Being able to help and support our children and young people at Life Skills Hub gives me a warm heart. Life Skills Hub recognises that we are all different, have different needs, and require unique support. It gives me great joy to say that I work for a company that understands, listens and has empathy for the families we work with.

I lead our outdoor provision, Forest Skills Hub and Holiday Activity programme, I have my dream job! My passion and knowledge of the great outdoors allows me to pass on and develop skills of our children and young people. Teaching bushcraft skills and allowing the children and young people to take risks, understanding nature and working with the natural cycle of the seasons is something I am very passionate about.
Hi I am Tom. In my spare time I really enjoy playing football and going mountain hiking and keeping myself healthy. I especially like going to Wales and climbing in the Snowdonia national park. I recognise that it is super important to look after myself and apply some self-care, when I need some quiet time, I like to go fishing on a quiet lake overnight camping being able to relax in nature.

I'm passionate to bring my therapeutic skills and experience to Life Skills Hub because I can share, learn, and explore existing and new skills alongside students to help manage anxiety and social situations. I have found from personal experience that really understanding a person and being able to reduce their anxiety by being empathetic and supportive can improve their quality of life. I have seen this first hand and the feeling you get from seeing that quiet, anxious person flourishing in life after finding their path is really rewarding.

I'm currently working on the Outreach Team and the Holiday Scheme, which means working with students to build new life skills, enjoy moments in nature and develop their social skills during non-term time. Often these experiences are super rich and enjoyable. I bring a variety of experiences to Life Skills Hub.
Hi I am Kat.

In my spare time I really enjoy hiking along a costal path and like to go all over the UK scrambling up mountains. I love being outdoors and enjoy the sense of peace amongst the wildlife. I also love any practical based learning. I am extremely musical and enjoy playing the trumpet/cornet and love to dance. I recognise it's super important to look after myself and apply some self-care, for me this is the opposite to relaxing, my self-care is usually to build something, an exciting new project that makes me truly happy and stress free.

I'm passionate to bring my therapeutic skills and experience to Life Skills Hub, I'm excited to learn and explore existing and new skills alongside students to help manage anxiety and become more confident in social situations.

I am very experienced in supporting children and young people with disabilities and special educational needs. I love to see kids engaging in activities that they would normally shy away from, I am all about making things fun and being super patient. I believe that praise and appreciation go a very long way and respect is a two-way street. I firmly believe young people should be seen, heard and valued.

I am currently working at the forest skills site which has been an amazing opportunity. I'm really proud to be a part of the team and love working with the students teaching them how to build a campfire and cook a meal in our fantastic outdoor space. I enjoy teaching our students a variety of skills such as whittling, building furniture and craft and anything from exercise classes to aromatherapy, working with students to build new life skills and enjoy moments in nature and develop their social skills.

I am also part of the holiday programme team during non-term time, offering children experiences which are super rich and enjoyable.

I am a skilled in woodwork, landscaping, and enjoy building anything from walls to sheds and ponds!
Hi, I'm Tasha, Director and Specialist Wellbeing Manager at Life Skills Hub Limited. On a day to day basis I am responsible for a number of exciting things with running the company but what I love to do is be out and about working very closely with James, Nicci and John who head up the Therapeutic Centre, Employability and Forest Skills.

My specialism is in working with young people with autism and anxiety/depression. I focus on delivering 1-1 specialist sessions with children and young people with complex social/emotional mental health needs mostly in the community but I am lucky enough to have worked with some of our young people for long enough that they have progressed to either our Employability service or I have helped them transition into their next step. It is so exciting to see young people flourish and spread their wings.

My passion is health and wellbeing, I am trained in mindfulness and it ’s a technique I use myself every day. In my spare time you will find me walking, running, or cycling. I love a challenge and pair this with focusing on raising money for children ’s charities in my spare time, some of these exciting things include abseiling and wing walking! I love the ethos of placing a child or young person at the centre of the work we do, and Life Skills Hub achieves that time and time again.
Hi, I'm Elly.

I absolutely love working with Life Skills Hub. I am the Services Manager. This is where I look after all the services within Life Skills and make sure what we are delivering is the right package for each individual.

I have had a few, diverse careers which I have absolutely loved and use all these experiences to help the individuals I work with. This started as being a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy where I travelled to many different places all over the world, then as a Fitness Instructor and Children's Activities Co-ordinator, to working as a Teaching Assistant and quickly realising that I wanted to teach! I qualified as a teacher in 2010.

I really enjoy keeping fit with exercise classes, running and cycling and also love singing. You’ll often find me trying to grow things in my garden at the weekends.
Hello, my name is John.

In my spare time I enjoy playing badminton and table tennis with my son. I also enjoy going to the cinema, it helps me relax and unwind. I love spending time with my family and taking my dog Izzy for walks at the beach.

I'm passionate about bringing my skills, knowledge and experience to life skills employability. I remember how hard it was being younger whilst dealing with anxiety, social situations and sometimes not feeling good enough. I want to help students to feel empowered, full of energy and have a passion for life. I want to help them develop skills towards what they want to do in the future.

My role within Life skills Employability is Senior Lead and Head Trainer. My team and I, help students build confidence and vocational skillsets that will help them attain employment in the future.
Hi I am Katy. I am a friendly and bubbly person and I am really excited about the services offered by Life Skills Hub. have been lucky enough to work with children, young people and their families in a range of roles.

I have worked within the statutory, voluntary and education sector. Each role has enabled me to support children and young people with complex needs to achieve their aspirations, this is something that I am really passionate about. I have a keen interest in supporting young people who are care experienced and those who have experienced trauma within their lives.

Outside of work I am doing my hypnotherapy qualifications and used to dabble in resin craft and metal detecting.
