Post 16 Pathway
Our Post 16 Pathway is designed to ensure that young adults can receive targeted support to move into the world of work, further study or to develop their skills for more independent living.

All of our existing services at Life Skills Hub can be tailored specifically to support young people to prepare for adulthood. Each young person will have a bespoke plan which will support them to work towards their individual targets delivered with a therapeutic approach. Through person centred discussion, targets will be identified, and steps and strategies planned to work towards a positive end goal.
Hi I am Katy.

I am a friendly and bubbly person and I am really excited about the services offered by Life Skills Hub.

I have been lucky enough to work with children, young people and their families in a range of roles.

I have worked within the statutory, voluntary and education sector. Each role has enabled me to support children and young people with complex needs to achieve their aspirations, this is something that I am really passionate about.

I have a keen interest in supporting young people who are care experienced and those who have experienced trauma within their lives.

Outside of work I am doing my hypnotherapy qualifications and used to dabble in resin craft and metal detecting.
Hi I am Ian and I’m a Lifelong Hull City supporter, American Football fan, love anything to do with cricket, playing or watching and an amateur photographer. I enjoy long walks in the countryside, cycling and reading.

I believe that every single person who wants help, should be heard. For far too long the stigma attached to mental health, especially men's mental health, has been a significant hindrance for the wellbeing of many in this country and the time for change is now. If you are looking for someone to sit with you in the dark, I am here to sit with you until the light appears.

Hi my name is Michelle. In my spare time I really enjoy spending time at the stables, looking after my ponies, even when it's muddy and wet. To unwind after a hard day's work, I love taking my two dogs, Bonnie & Frank, for a long walk. Once the walk is over, a perfect evening will be chilling in front of the television watching Bake-Off, giving me inspiration for another of my hobbies, baking.

However, my greatest love is spending time with my family, especially when we all go on holiday together. I'm passionate about bringing my caring nature and experience to Life Skills Hub because I can share, learn and explore existing and new skills alongside students to help manage their anxieties and social situations. Not being a naturally confident person, I have had to develop my own skills in this area, and therefore when working with students I can relate to the issues they face. Overall, I entered this profession as I want to make a difference to young people's lives and help them to prosper and flourish.
