Life Skills Hub would like to share the amazing news that we have been awarded the Wellbeing Award on behalf of Optimus Education.

Structure of the event -

2.30pm - View work and art displays

3-3.30pm - coffee and complimentary cake

3.30-4.30pm - Presentation of certificates

Young people can also decorate their own cup cake!

We are delighted to add to our previous news around the achievement of the Inclusion Quality Award. In addition to this Life Skills Hub have also received the Centre of Excellent award from IQM.

“Becoming a Centre of Excellence is an opportunity for schools to build on the success of being one of the very special schools which holds the Inclusion Quality Mark award. A Centre of Excellence brings schools together to share and build on their existing good practice in inclusion best practice.” (IQM 2025)

We are delighted to have been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark Award - which recognises our inclusive approach, delivery and support for our young people, families and staff team.

We are excited to continue the journey onwards with IQM.

Warm weather clothing and essentials –

As the weather gets warmed, just a reminder that young people are dressed appropriately and they bring with them suncream, a drink and a sun hat.

Personal Belongings –

We encourage all young people to leave personal belongings at home, this includes mobile phones, vapes, etc.

If mobile phones, vapes or any other valuables are brought to the site they must be given in to reception and kept in a named bag to be returned at the end of the day.
