Independent Living
Our Independent Living offer is designed to ensure that all our young people at our school can receive targeted support to move into the world of work, further study, or develop their skills for more independent living.
We support young people to access our independent living flat, to practice skills within a safe learning environment, from cooking, cleaning, making a bed, to washing up and loading a washing machine!
Our aim is to up-skill you to live independently in the future and prepare you for adulthood. Whether it might be those pesky bills to sort, learning how to change a fuse in a plug or developing your independent travel skills; we provide a fully rounded programme to help you develop key skills.
We also provide career advice and guidance through fully qualified careers advisors, overseen by our Careers Lead who is also a specialist in Post 16 and Post 18 education
