Supervision
and
Training
We work with a range of settings including education, health and local authorities to provide bespoke training on SEND, managing anxiety, school-based trauma and a range of other courses. These courses are aimed to upskill the workforce with CPD and provide confidence to manage tricky issues that commonly crop up. We can create bespoke sessions if you have an idea in mind and we will be glad to hear from you to discuss your in-house needs. Our trainers are multi-disciplinary and we match the trainer to our client.

We also provide support via our Supervision element of the service, where by a fully qualified counsellor offering peer or group support in a setting directly to staff to improve their wellbeing, give opportunities to offload, sound out ideas and thinking. Often supervision sessions for staff wellbeing are for staff supporting complex young people and/or the support they provide is pastoral/emotional. Our service helps employers to support their staff and promote staff wellbeing within difficult and emotional tasking work environments

Hi I am Katy. I am a friendly and bubbly person and I am really excited about the services offered by Life Skills Hub. have been lucky enough to work with children, young people and their families in a range of roles.

I have worked within the statutory, voluntary and education sector. Each role has enabled me to support children and young people with complex needs to achieve their aspirations, this is something that I am really passionate about. I have a keen interest in supporting young people who are care experienced and those who have experienced trauma within their lives.

Outside of work I am doing my hypnotherapy qualifications and used to dabble in resin craft and metal detecting.
Hey! I'm Chris. I am so excited to be involved with Life Skills Hub.

I really enjoy combining all of my skills to help individuals to resolve their issues and reach their goals - whether that is in a personal, business or education setting. I really enjoy encouraging young people to achieve their potential, and have helped several young people in my former role as a mentor for the Princes' Trust. My passions are around the growth of individuals and I look forward to bringing this energy, via a really down to earth approach, to Life Skills Hub and its clients.
Hello and welcome! I'm Luke - Director and Specialist Wellbeing Manager at Life Skills Hub. I set up Life Skills in February 2020 and welcomed Tasha on board in January 2021 and we work closely together as Co-Directors of the business.

A bit about me:
I enjoy watching live theatre, performing in theatres (particularly musicals) singing (particularly something with soul!), travelling, spa days, complimentary therapies, home improvements, spending time with family and friends and adventures! I also love relaxing, body stretch, becoming engrossed in a good series on TV, swimming and I particularly enjoy Greek, Mexican, Italian, and Thai food (perhaps a fusion of all 4?).  I love time with family and friends and making memories. Whilst some of my role is serious and involves things like; decision making and analytical thought - I thrive off connectivity, creativity, and fun!  I usually sport colourful clothing and feel comfortable and grounded without shoes on. I enjoy networking and being connected with others.

I love studying and finding out new facts, developing skills and I'm on a journey about understanding myself intrinsically. I have always been very interested in what makes people 'Tick' and in psychology. I have graduated in theatre studies, law and more recently as a psychotherapeutic counsellor. At LSH we are firm believer in CPD, and insights training can bring. I reflect on arrange of skills learnt from a varied career, including in leading Inclusion across multiple specialist schools, working within NHS Mental Health Teams, SEND/disability charities, advocacy, safeguarding, legal advice and student wellbeing.
Hi, I'm Elly.

I absolutely love working with Life Skills Hub. I am the Services Manager. This is where I look after all the services within Life Skills and make sure what we are delivering is the right package for each individual.

I have had a few, diverse careers which I have absolutely loved and use all these experiences to help the individuals I work with. This started as being a Warfare Officer in the Royal Navy where I travelled to many different places all over the world, then as a Fitness Instructor and Children's Activities Co-ordinator, to working as a Teaching Assistant and quickly realising that I wanted to teach! I qualified as a teacher in 2010.

I really enjoy keeping fit with exercise classes, running and cycling and also love singing. You’ll often find me trying to grow things in my garden at the weekends.
